When they bought it from Recipezaar, they screwed it all up. It's a mess. I KNOW because I have a bunch of MY recipes on there. I've seen it pass thru several hands over the years, and Food.com is the absolute worst of it. Example: The "trending" recipes has not been updated for over a year, search function sucks, they dropped good catagories and thousands of recipes people put up. No wonder members left in a mass exodus, and still are. Pretty useless. I'd give them negative stars if I could.

In summary, I would not recommend Food.com to a friend.

Old site was much more user friendly. I really liked the section for new reviews. A lot of my recipes came from there because recipes were ones that I would never have thought to look up. New site does not have this feature. I haven't added a new recipe since format was changed.

I have used food. com since 2008. I just went to the site and found it has changed. I loved the old site better.. Will try the new for awhile BUT feel that I will be going to another site. I found the old very easy to use and being older I do not like change. I am not trying to be difficult and really am impressed by the amount of recipes.. I liked the feature where you could put number in and get the recipe but now you have to know the name. It takes me forever to type because hands have arthritis but I could type numbers..

In summary, I would recommend Food.com to a friend.
